My previous blender used to struggle whereas this ninja did it without any sign of hesitation. I use frozen fruit as part of my smoothie. The two supplied blending/drinking flasks are very thick and easy to clean, and feel like they’ll stand the rest of time. The build quality of the unit itself is excellent and looks great in our kitchen. I use the “Max blend” function which blitzes through all of that like it’s nothing within a minute. It really is a very powerful motor but I’m not sure all that power is needed to blend some fruit and crush ice. It must be held firm with both hands otherwise it feels like it will jump off the bench. The manufacturer says that the o ring should not be removed but this is clearly not a good idea because within a couple of uses it starts to build up bacteria and I can see it becoming toxic within a week or two of frequent use.Ģ.) this device is so powerful it moves around on the kitchen bench when blending. However, there is no way to remove the o ring without prying it out with a spoon end or something similar. There is an o ring around the blade component. I went back and checked the validity of the reviews as I found this product has a couple of fundamental design flaws.ġ.) Cleaning the product properly is extremely frustrating.
